Nick Shirk is a Project Engineer at Toric Engineering. Nick is in charge of managing, designing, and implementing a many new projects. He has worked as an engineer for the past 7 years. By bringing a unique toolset with his work as a Research and Development Engineer and work designing and building Digital Fault Record panels for electrical substations, Nick has become an integral part of the Toric Engineering team for the past 3 years.
After graduating with his Associate of Science in 2013, Nick went on to pursue many certifications. In 2016, he became ESCO Group certified in Air Conditioning, Gas Heat, Heat Pump, and Electrical and received his technical certification in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning. In 2017, he became a Certified Electronics Technician and received his technical certificate in Electronics and Computer Technology. Nick went on to receive his Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology in 2021.
Although Nick went into Engineering for his enjoyment of problem solving, he enjoys more relaxing hobbies away from work. Home renovations, gardening, hiking, and camping are some of his favorite past times.
