City Of Newburgh : Waste Water Treatment Plant Expansion
This project was to upgraded the existing Waste Water control systems. This included the design of a new fiber optic network for ethernet communication. The ethernet communication required upgrading of the Allen Bradley PLC’s to ethernet compatible products. Toric coordinated the integration of process equipment controls with the plant controls.
Toric designed and built six new control panels to support the plant expansion. These panels were connected to the new fiber optic ethernet network. New computers were provided to run Wonderware Intouch. The Wonderware was upgraded to support the new ethernet compatible PLC’s processors. The Wonderware graphics were redesigned and expanded to incorporate the new plant equipment. Win911 alarm notification was also provided to replace the obselete alarm dialer.
