The City of Tipton SCADA project was a fast-paced project. Toric had 120 days to design, build panels, and install SCADA systems for Water and Waste Water.
The requirements of this project were to monitor and remotely control the West Water Treatment Plant and West Waste Water Treatment Plant. The data from these plants are transmitted five miles back to the East WTP and East WWTP, respectively. The remote telemetry units were designed with Allen Bradley’s PLC’s connected to Microwave Data Systems 900Mhz radios. The data is being displayed on Dell computers running Windows XP and Rockwell Software. Win911 Alarm software is used to notify the operator of alarms.
