Jon Shoemaker is a Panel Builder at Toric Engineering.  Jonathan joined the Toric team in June of ’26. He works in the panel shop to help layout and wire control panels by hand. He also helps to deliver panels on occasion. 

Jon graduated from the University of Southern Indiana where he double majored in physics and mathematics. He then went on to earn graduate from the IEC program in June 2026.

Some of Jon’s favorite things are:

• his mini garden
• playing video games
• model kits
• spreadsheets

When asked why he became a panel builder, he said “I accepted the job partly because I needed experience as part of IEC to become an electrician admittedly, but I was excited to take it upon learning how the job is unique in comparison to other electrical roles, and how there will be differences in most every job.”
