• The specifications for this project were to provide a blower control panel.  Variable frequency drivers (VFDs) were provided to control two 60 horsepower (hp) blower motors.  In addition, two VFDs were provided to control 3 hp EQ pumps.  Blower safety was wired into the control circuit so that the blowers would shut down on high discharge, high differential pressure, and high motor temperature.  Also, the blowers would shutdown when the generator was running since it wasn’t large enough to power the blowers.  EQ pumps had safeties wired in the control circuit as well.  This included high temperature and seal fail. The control panel included dry contacts for remote monitoring of these safeties as well as VFD running and VFD fault.  Toric Engineering provided on-site startup services to verify proper setup of the equipment.
